Wedding Recce

My Friend Tori is getting married in April, and she has asked me to do the photography for her wedding. In preparation we have met a couple of times to discuss what style of images she would want for her wedding. We have also discussed group shots, and other small details so we both know come the day that I have what I need to do the job so that Tori and her fiancé will get the images they want.

Part of this preparation included going on a recce to scout out the location and see the wedding venue. They have chosen a grade I listed Elizabethan manor house, Oakwell Hall Country Park, a place that I have visited as a school child but do not remember well. The location is beautiful with an abundance of natural light, even on an overcast day.The recce is an important part of the pre-production stage, as it ensures that I know what the venue looks like, and what the quality of light will be on the day.
